As the crisp fall air rolls in, we’re warming hearts with more feel-good news from our Hexagon Cares initiative. Each quarter, we dedicate a portion of our success to give back to local families and causes that embody strength, courage, and community.
This quarter, we’re proud to share that our donation has been made to the Pens Family — a family whose story is a powerful reminder of love, resilience, and faith in the face of unimaginable challenges.
Anthony (26) and his sister Alyssa (15) are two of only fifty people in the world diagnosed with an extremely rare neurological disease — and they are the only known cases in the United States. In fact, Alyssa is the only known female living with this condition.
Both were once healthy, active children before the disease began to take hold, gradually robbing them of their ability to walk, talk, and eat independently. Today, they rely on feeding tubes, specialized medical equipment, and around-the-clock care — yet their spirits remain unbreakable.
Anthony is now homebound and medically fragile, while Alyssa attends school in a wheelchair. The family’s most urgent need is for a wheelchair-accessible van, which would allow Alyssa to travel safely to school and medical appointments, and give Anthony access to vital care beyond home.
Every contribution, share, or simple word of encouragement makes a difference in helping this family continue their journey with hope and dignity.
At Hexagon Real Estate, we believe meaningful change starts right here at home. Through Hexagon Cares, we’re honored to support families and organizations who lift others up — act by act and heart by heart.
Your continued support makes these moments possible. Thank you for standing with us, for choosing a team that’s as passionate about community as we are about real estate. 🧡
