July was more than another successful month for Diane Martin, it was a history-making chapter in an already remarkable real estate career. Diane earned Hexagon Real Estate’s July Sales Leader award after closing an incredible 12 transactions representing more than $2.6 million in property value. In the process, she reached her personal sales goal for the entire year and officially surpassed her previous best year ever-with five months still remaining in 2026.
Those numbers are worth celebrating, but they tell only part of the story. Behind every closing was a client placing their trust in Diane during an important transition. There were countless phone calls, property showings, strategy sessions, negotiations, unexpected challenges, and long hours spent ensuring every detail was handled properly. Diane’s success has been built through decades of experience, exceptional knowledge of the Wilmington and Shadow Lakes real estate markets, genuine care for her clients, and the consistency to show up and deliver every single day.
A Record-Setting Team Effort
Diane has also had a valuable teammate alongside her throughout this career-best year: licensed assistant Josie Gill. Josie has become an important part of Diane’s operation, helping manage the constant communication, scheduling, coordination, marketing, and behind-the-scenes details required to provide their clients with outstanding service. Her energy, organization, and willingness to jump in wherever needed have helped Diane and Josie turn a demanding year into a record-setting one. While Diane’s experience and reputation remain the foundation, Josie’s contributions have helped the team serve even more buyers and sellers without losing the personal care that has always defined Diane’s business.
“Diane has spent years building the knowledge, relationships, and trust that make a month like this possible,” said Jim Ludes, owner and Designated Managing Broker of Hexagon Real Estate. “What she accomplished in July was incredible, but it wasn’t a surprise to anyone who sees how hard she works for her clients. Josie deserves a lot of credit, too. She has stepped into her role, embraced every challenge, and become a tremendous complement to Diane. Together, they’re having a truly special year and the exciting part is that they’re nowhere near finished.”
A Career-Best Year Still in Progress
Reaching an annual sales goal in July would be an extraordinary accomplishment on its own. Surpassing an all-time personal record before the year’s final five months makes the achievement even more impressive. More importantly, Diane continues to earn those results while providing the experience, honest guidance, and personal attention her clients have come to expect.
Congratulations to Diane on a phenomenal July, a new personal record, and a career-best year that is still far from complete. Congratulations as well to Josie for the important role she continues to play in this record-breaking run. We are incredibly proud to celebrate everything they have accomplished—and we cannot wait to see how much higher they raise the bar before the year is over.
Keep making history!
