August’s Sales Leader recognition belongs to Hexagon Real Estate’s dynamic duo: Diane Martin and Josie Gill.
After Diane’s history-making July, she and Josie came right back and paced the Hexagon office together in August. Throughout the month, they helped buyers and sellers navigate major moves, challenging searches and exciting new chapters—continuing what has already been a remarkable year for both of them.
A Partnership Built for Their Clients
Diane brings decades of real estate experience, an unmatched knowledge of Wilmington and the Shadow Lakes community, and the steady guidance that only comes from helping clients through hundreds of transactions.
Josie, who became a licensed real estate broker earlier this year, has quickly proven herself to be far more than an assistant. She is a hardworking, thoughtful agent who is always ready to learn, contribute and do whatever is needed to help their clients succeed.
Together, their strengths complement one another perfectly. Diane provides the experience and market knowledge that have made her one of the area’s most trusted real estate professionals, while Josie brings energy, organization and an eagerness to take on every challenge. The result is a team capable of providing clients with an extraordinary level of service and support.
More Than the Number of Homes Closed
Sales Leader recognition may be determined by production, but numbers tell only a small part of the story.
Behind every August closing were countless phone calls, early mornings, long days, property tours, negotiations and unexpected challenges. Most importantly, there were real people trusting Diane and Josie to guide them through one of life’s biggest financial and personal decisions.
One August closing followed nearly six months of searching before their buyer finally found the right home in Coal City. Another required creativity and persistence to locate an off-market property for clients determined to become part of the Shadow Lakes community. Diane and Josie worked directly with the homeowner and the homeowner’s attorney to help bring that transaction together.
Those experiences reflect what makes this team so successful. They do not simply wait for the easiest opportunity to appear. They listen to what their clients want, remain patient when the search takes longer than expected and find creative ways to move forward when the perfect property is not sitting on the open market.
Relationships That Extend Beyond the Closing Table
When agents spend months working closely with buyers and sellers, those relationships often become much more personal than a typical business transaction.
Clients become friends. Families begin following the search and rooting for everything to work out. Each accepted offer feels like a shared victory, and every closing becomes a celebration of the entire journey—not simply the day the paperwork is signed.
That genuine investment in their clients is at the heart of Diane and Josie’s success. Their clients know they have two people in their corner who care about where they are going, why the move matters and what it will take to get them there.
Keep it rolling, ladies. We have a feeling this dynamic duo is nowhere near finished!
